Be encouraged in the lord

Hello beautiful people, today I have come to encourage us with a message God laid on my heart. You see most times we knock on Heavens door persistently asking God to Intervene , promote us , change our situation for the better and even change our location to a more Conducive and comfortable environment as the case may be, to a land flowing with milk and honey. When God responds to our request, and maybe somewhere along the line another thing comes up we tend to loss focus, give in quickly to discouragement, fear and anxiety, forgetting the bible says BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD. (Psalm 46:10). If God did it before, he is Capable well able to do it again. If he healed you from that sickness before, he is able to heal again, if he took away that pain, delivered, saved you from that difficult Situation, he is able to do it again. Be still and know that he is God. Don’t be like the Israelites in Exodus 17:3, who literally murmured , tested, doubted and tried God, when they were in need of water to drink. They had forgetten so quickly that it was the same GOD, the I am, that I am, that actually brought them out the land of Egypt, if he could part the red sea on their behalf, deliver them and more also prevent their enemies from prevailing over them, laughing them to scorn , then was it JUST WATER HE (GOD) wouldn’t have been able to provide for them? I mean it’s so disheartening when we limit GODS Power , Sovereignty and Integrity. Looking at exodus 17, the whole chapter, we would see how God proved himself as Jehovah Jireh ( GOD the provider). In verse 6 GOD demonstrated his Sovereignty and Integrity. The scripture says water came out of the Rock right after Moses obeyed Gods command by smiting the Rock. Lessons 1. Detest complaining when the going gets tough or when challenged, BE STILL AND KNOW that he is GOD. If he did something great before in your life when you desperately needed that breakthrough, he will do it again. Please lets not limit God or neither put God in a box. For he is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). 2. When you feel the weight is too heavy and you about to give up, please don’t give up. Stand strong, lift your eyes up to the hills to heaven because our help comes from the lord who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2) . Remember in exodus 17:11 the moment moses was trying to give up because he had to suspend his hand in the air , Amalek prevailed, but when he lifted his hands up again Israel prevailed. So keep keeping on, don’t drop those hands, don’t quit working hard, don’t stop praying, don’t give up so that your enemies wont prevail over you. Keep being your best and in due time God will surely give you victory 3. Remember to always ponder on the Goodness of God upon your life and always give thanks to God. In every situation you find yourself give thanks always (1 Thessalonians 5:18) 4. When you tempted to complain, worship God, pray, pick up your bible and stand on the promises of God for your life, future, family and career. Confess Gods word always, don’t forget there is power in the word of God , there is also power in the tongue, for death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat the fruit (proverbs 18:21). Choose life, speak life, speak possibilities and faith filled words, be optimistic. I know this word is for you, yes you. N.B:- Be still and know that he is God.
